You know it when you feel it. iPad guilt. It’s that feeling you get when you hand the iPad over to your child so that you can cook dinner, read a book, go to the restroom without someone shoving their hands under the door, shave your legs, or any number of other sanity-saving activities. Yes, every parent needs a moment to themselves, but some of us still feel guilty for using the iPad as an unsupervised babysitter. Well, no longer! App developer known as ‘Kidaptive‘ is launching an amazing feedback tool for parents called “Parent’s Pad” that allows parents to track and analyze their child’s learning abilities and development by simply letting their child play with the iPad. Leo’s Pad: Preschool Kids Learning Series App Review – Learning With Leo

Leo’s Pad 2 was one of our favorite apps in a long time so we were pretty excited to hear that a third appisode was in the works. On the first two standalone Leo’s Pad installments, re-imagined childhood scientists walk – or fly – preschoolers through interactive learning focusing on science. The third appisode – Catch That Question – was released in early April and doesn’t disappoint. This time Leo and Marie are back to teach preschoolers about flying high and encouraging player interactivity with games and activities. Along with Cinder the flying dragon, the two mini scientists catch fireflies, take flight wearing a special belt, and save Marie’s question lab from floating away. Leo’s Pad 2 Review – This App Is A Shining Star

Ask most young kids what they want to be when they grow up and the range of answers will most likely include astronaut. Being obsessed with outer space is definitely a childhood rite of passage, and unless you’re literally a rocket scientist, the outer reaches of the galaxy are the hardest to break down into kid-talk. If you just can’t find the time to finish your PhD in astrophysics, try a new app called Leo’s Pad 2. The second in a series of educational “appisodes”, this game combines some teaching, some singing, and some good, old-fashioned iPad fun to help break down the ins and outs of the far reaches of the universe. This sophomore release from Kidaptive is appropriately titled “Rocket To The Stars”, and players begin their cosmic adventure by meeting pint-sized versions of Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, and Marie Curie.
