Highlights from WWDC15

So yesterday Apple held this little event called the Worldwide Developer’s Conference out in San Francisco. I believe it was an intimate affair with small, simple keynote speeches and no celebrity endorsements. Anyways, Apple uses this even to announce any new and innovative products that they’ll be hyping for the next nine months until we start getting ready for WWD16 and the fervor begins anew. While the biggest announcement from the conference was the introduction of streaming service Apple Music, there were some less glamorous updates and services added with the upgrade to iOS9. What really caught my interest was the multitasking feature – from Apple’s WWDC press release: “New multitasking features designed specifically for iPad allow you to work with two apps simultaneously, side-by-side or with the new Picture-in-Picture feature, to keep watching a video while browsing the web, composing email or using any other app.” The feauture will be [...]
