One afternoon last week I was digging through the fridge and pantry to figure out the dinner plan. There wasn’t much to choose from (bacon from two months ago, anyone?) and I instantly broke into a cold sweat when I realized that I would have to drag two kids to the grocery store for a “quick trip”. We were all secretly relieved when I decided it was a great night for pizza. I was convinced that my daughter, now 3, was a boy – even up until the day she was born. There was no way that I was going to “do” tea parties, painted fingernails, and fancy hair bows.
